ICAR XI will focus on in-person participation, but in preparation for complexities in travel logistics we will also foster a hybrid model for those participants wishing to attend remotely in a non-active roll.

Registration fees cover the conference participation for the week, the mid-conference field trip, and banquet dinner (see the Conference Schedule for more details). Other events to be planned, but not yet available, include pre and post conference field trips and excursions.

Online registration will include access to a live video feed of the oral presentations only. No accepted poster or oral abstracts authors will be able to participate in the conference through the online registration option.

All conference events if not specifically mentioned will take place at the Las Cruces Convention Center located at 680 E University Ave, Las Cruces, 88001

Deadlines have been sent in advance to allow for a well-orchestrated event to allow for everyone to have a great meeting. Refer to the timeline outlined below to make sure you do not miss any important dates.

  • November 1, 2022 Early registration begins & housing opens
  • December 20, 2022 Travel grant applications will be accepted
  • January 1, 2023 Abstract submission opens
  • February 28, 2023 Early Registration ends
  • March 14, 2023 Abstract submission closes
  • April 10, 2023 Abstract selection and final program published
  • June 1, 2023 Registration closes

REGISTRATION RATES

ICAR XI is offering several conference registration rates based on the deadlines mentioned as well as your ISAR membership status and institutional associations.

Registration will continue to made available to those that have not been able to register for reasons beyond their control (e.g., administration approval, visa approval, etc.) until June 26. Please contact admin@icarxi.com if you need to be provided with a link to the registration after the closing date.

Cancellation Policy

  1. If a registrant is unable to attend an event for any reason they may substitute, by
    arrangement with the organizer, someone else to attend in their place.
  2. Where the registrant is unable to attend and is not in a position to transfer his/her place
    to another person or to another event, then the following refund arrangements apply:
  • Registrations cancelled more than 60 days before the event are eligible for an
    80% refund of the registration fees paid.
  • Registrations cancelled less than 60 days before the event are no longer eligible
    for a refund.
  • Cancellations from registrants that have authored abstracts after a failed visa application will be refunded 90% of the registration fees paid, which covers the costs associated with processing the paper. In this event, the paper will still be published in the conference proceedings and the registrant will receive an electronic copy of the proceedings.
